Curtains
Curtains or Drapes are a beautiful way to dress your window. Whether you like a more traditional style of Pinch pleats, or a more modern style of Eyelets or S-Fold headings, curtains can be made out of sheer fabrics, or more solid fabrics paired with a blockout lining – which is great for that extra insulation against the cold in winter and heat in summer.

Pinch Pleat
Pinch Pleat refers to the top of the curtain where the header is sewn into fixed pleats. This gives a uniform look with elegant folds going from top to bottom.
S Fold
S fold curtains are a contemporary style of curtain. The header tape forms soft “S” shaped folds rather than pleats. Suitable for both lined and sheer curtains. Often installed wall to wall and ceiling to floor to create the illusion of space.
Pencil Pleat
Pencil Pleat curtains are named for the tight pleating at the top of the curtains that look similar to a row of pencils. They are less formal and not used as often in decorating these days.
Rod Pocket
A rod pocket curtain is when the top of the curtain is folded over and sewn to create a pocket for the rod to pass through when the curtain is hung. These curtains are not designed to be opened and closed.
Lined curtains
Lined curtains is when there is additional layers of fabric added to the curtain to assist with blocking out the elements. This style of curtain, no matter what the heading type is, will provide the best insulation for you home.
Sheer Curtains
Sheer curtains are made from light see through fabric that can been seen through during daylight hours. Allowing you to have the curtains closed for privacy but still being able to see out during daylight hours. Often paired with blockout roller blinds or curtains for insulation and privacy in the evenings.
Angled curtains
Angled curtains can be made a variety of different styles. They are sewn in a way that they fit an angled window when closed and can be installed on a cord or hand drawn track.
Goblet Curtains
Goblet curtains refer to the top of the curtain where the header is sewn into fixed pleats with a fluted open pleat similar to a champagne/ goblet cup. This gives a uniform look with elegant folds going from top to bottom.
Blinds
There are so many blinds to choose from. There are simple roller blinds or you can go with a more decorative Roman or versatile venetian. There is a blind style to suit any home.
Roller Blinds
There are a wide range of fabrics and colours to choose from, including screen fabrics, light filtering fabrics and blockout fabrics, with the option to use dual blinds at windows to create privacy both day and night or pair them with sheer curtains for a softer look.
Venetian Blinds
Venetian blinds can be a very versatile window treatment. Great for windows by front doors and for bathrooms that have clear glass windows. Venetian blinds can be made as Aluminium or Timber style in a variety colours and slat widths.
Roman Blinds
Soft Romans are designed using a huge range of curtain materials, paired with a blockout lining to create a great option for your window, helping to insulate, and to protect the life of your fabric. Hard Romans are designed using blind fabrics, using options from blockout fabrics to translucent fabrics.
Plantation Shutters
Plantation Shutters are a modern sleek design for window treatments. They are custom made to suit your windows, with a range of materials, colours and slat widths to suit your design requirements. We use Norman Plantation Shutters that are Australia’s top selling brand.
Woodlore Waterproof Plantation Shutters
Fully waterproof panels and frames with stainless steel hardware which won’t corrode or rust are suitable for bathrooms, kitchens and laundries.
Bi-Fold Plantation Shutters
Adding top and bottom tracks allows you to create wide stunning window and door openings that offer ultimate functionality. The options include bi-fold or bypass tracked you can operate multiple panels in one smooth motion.
Woodlore Plantation Shutters
Made from an eco-friendly Engineered Wood Composite (EWC) core coated with a medical grade polypropylene, providing the perfect finish for good looks, durability and water resistance. These Plantation Shutters also have an invisible Easy Tilt louvre drive option.
Pelmets
We can add that decorative finish to curtains and blinds with custom made Pelmets, with a range of styles, shapes and designs. Pelmet depths and designs can be customised to suit your specific needs.
We can also discuss built-in style pelmets if you are in the process of building or renovating your home.
Wood Pelmets
Made from a sturdy but light wood can be painted to any Dulux colour required. This is a great way to finish off your curtain and blinds and tie in the wall paint colours of your home.
Blind Fabric
These pelmets are upholstered in firm fabrics that match your roller blinds. These can be matched to your roller blinds or in any roller blind fabric desired.
Swag and Tails
Fabric that is pleated and draped to hang at the top and down the sides of the window to add decoration. Usually featured in federation styled homes.
Fabric
These pelmets are upholstered in soft fabrics that match your curtains. These can be matched to your curtains or in any curtain fabric desired. They can also be padded or piped to give a more upholstered look.
Built-In
These are a great idea for renovations or if you are building a new home. This option can only be done by a builder and plasterer and is recommended to be done during construction.
